Super Hero Eli

I am star student because I'm nice and I work hard. So far my favorite part of third grade is coding, math, and typing. I love that my school has Chromebooks because we get to do assignments on google docs. If I could change on thing in the world I would want Isis to be gone. When I grow up I want to be a video game designer because I would get to be creative and I love video games. I would also like to share that life is life.

Want to hear a joke?

"What does a nosy pepper do?"

"He gets Jalapeno business."

Since that was so funny, I bet you're still laughing, right?

My encore joke is:
"Why can't you give Elsa a balloon?"

Wait for it.......

"Because, she will LET IT GO!"

Now, please stop singing that song! Yes, please stop!

Dear Santa

We wrote  persuasive letters to Santa trying to convince him to come to our house this year! Enjoy!

Super Hero Zackarey

I am star student because I'm helpful and giving. My favorite part of 3rd grade is math. I try my best to learn math. Mrs. Biggs, Mrs. Jackson, and Mrs. Harbaugh help me learn. I love that my school has a big playground with football. I like playing the game. I love sports, BMX Supercross, and racing. When I grow up I want to be a firefighter because I want to save other kids. I am a good athlete because I show good sportsmanship by shaking hands after a game even if we lose!

Do you want to hear a joke?
"Knock knock."
"Who's there?"
"Annoying chicken."
"Annoying chicken who?"
"BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACOCK"

Super Hero Matty

I am a star student because I'm kind and helpful. So far, my favorite part of 3rd grade is math and science. I love that my school has PE and music because we sing songs in music and play games in PE. If I could change one thing about the world, I would make recyclables go in the recycle bin. When I grow up, I want to be an cop because my dad is one.

Want to hear a joke?

Knock Knock.
Who`s there?
Possum
Possum who?
Possum food, please, I`m hungry.

Flowers

The first picture is of my flowers on the morning I received them. Some had bloomed. Some had yet to bloom. Some were starting to bloom. The second picture shows the same flowers after time has passed. More have bloomed. Some are ready to bloom. Some may never bloom while I have them.

A beautiful, visual reminder of my students and my job as an educator.

I am thankful for the opportunity to nurture and watch my flowers bloom!

We are Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!

As most teachers do, I asked my class to reflect on what they were thankful for in their life. We didn't do the usual brainstorming. We didn't have a rough draft this time. They sat down at the computer and started typing from their heart. They followed this prompt: I am thankful for____ because ____. They shared their writings with me via Google Docs. I took a snapshot of their words. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
